Australian family owned and operated

Lloyd and Norm Yorston are brothers who combined their industry skills and business experience to establish Steelfixing Australia in 1977. Norm, a fully qualified accountant with extensive experience servicing the construction industry, manages the administrative side of the business.   Lloyd, who has over 30 years of steelfixing industry experience, manages the day-to-day operations.

Expert Management

Lloyd and Norm, along with Operations Manager Max King, leverage their combined 80+ years of industry experience to manage Steelfixing Australia.  This strong management team knows steelfixing; they know the construction industry; and they know business. Every job benefits from their expertise.

Our own crane fleet

Having our own fleet of cranes means improved productivity for us and cost savings for our customers. We don't have to rely on the availability of third party machines to meet your project timeline, and you don't have to pay for their rental directly or through inflated project costs.
Our workforce also benefits from our fleet of cranes, forklifts, scissor lifts and other heavy machinery as their manual labour requirements are minimised.
